Young Designer Program 2025
A unique opportunity for children to design their very own pyjama print.
The winning design will be produced and featured in our AW26 collection, offering young talent a playful and meaningful way to express creativity, imagination, and individuality.
About the Program
As part of Marie-Chantal's 25th anniversary, we introduce the Young Designer Program — a celebration of creativity, childhood, and community. It reflects Marie-Chantal’s enduring commitment to nurturing imagination and self-expression in children around the world.
We invite children up to the age of 10 to explore their creativity and design a print for our classic pyjamas. From festive patterns to whimsical motifs, every idea is welcome. This initiative is not only an opportunity to see their designs come to life but also a way to encourage confidence, artistic exploration, and a sense of accomplishment.
Through this program, Marie-Chantal continues its legacy of supporting children’s education, imagination, and the joy of self-expression—bringing the magic of creativity from their minds to our collection.

How to Participate
We invite young creatives to design a print for our classic pyjamas that fits within the AW26 collection theme, inspired by the festive season and holiday spirit. Children are encouraged to express themselves in any way that works best for them—mood boards, sketches, drawings, or other creative formats are all welcome.

How to Submit Your Child’s Design
To participate in the Young Designer Program, children can create their design in any format they like, whether drawn, painted, or created digitally, including moodboards. Once the design is ready, it should be photographed or scanned so that it is clear and easy to see. The file can be saved as a JPEG, PNG, or PDF.
All entries must be accompanied by parental consent, which can be completed easily online via our Parental Consent Form. Once the consent form is submitted, please email your child’s design to youngdesigner@mariechantal.com. We recommend using the subject line: “Young Designer Submission – [Child’s First Name]”. Please keep attachments under 20MB; if your files are larger, you may send them in two separate emails.
Judging
All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Marie-Chantal team, who will select the winning design based on creativity, imagination, and originality—meaning designs that are unique, authentic, and thoughtfully aligned with the AW26 theme.
There will be one winner, who will be announced and contacted directly on December 1st, 2025. Please note that only the winning entrant will be contacted; all other participants will not receive individual notifications, but we celebrate every child’s effort and creativity in taking part.
Prize
The winning child will receive £500, awarded shortly after the winner is announced on December 1st, 2025, and will see their design produced and included in the AW26 collection. Their creation will be celebrated across Marie-Chantal’s social media channels, newsletters, blog, and website, showcasing their talent to our community.
The winner will also receive a set of the pyjamas in their own size, with the option to gift matching pyjamas to family members. These will be delivered once the AW26 collection is produced and released in Autumn/Winter 2026, making this a truly memorable and joyous experience that extends into the following year.
This prize not only rewards creativity but also celebrates the imagination and artistic vision of our youngest designers, bringing their ideas to life in a way they can share with the world.

If the winning child participates in marketing photoshoots or virtual interviews, all rights to imagery, video, and recordings will be granted to Marie-Chantal for promotional use without additional compensation. These materials will be used primarily to promote the Young Designer Program and the AW26 collection. Any broader use in future brand campaigns will only take place with separate, explicit parental consent. Participation is voluntary and always subject to parental approval.

Non-winning designs remain the intellectual property of the entrants and will not be used by Marie-Chantal without consent.

Limitations of Entries
Only one entry per child is allowed.
Entries must be the child’s original work, created without the use of external professional assistance (beyond normal parental guidance).
Privacy & Safeguarding
Personal details collected (name, age, and contact information) will be used solely for contest administration and marketing activities directly related to the contest. Information will not be shared with third parties outside of these purposes. For non-winning entrants, any imagery or personal details will only be published with explicit parental consent. Submission of a winning entry constitutes consent for the use of the child’s first name (and, with parental consent, their age), design, and images for marketing and promotional purposes, as outlined above.
Any taxes, customs duties, or other charges associated with receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner’s parent/guardian. Marie-Chantal will not be responsible for covering or reimbursing these costs.
